E-Tel INC. CELEBRATES 40 YEARS OF SERVICE WITH A TRANSITION TO EMPLOYEE OWNERSHIP
E-Tel Inc., proudly serving as the South Texas Manufacturer’s Representative of
Choice since 1985, is celebrating its 40th anniversary with a historic milestone:
the company has transitioned to an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). This
move honors the company’s legacy while ensuring its future remains firmly in the
hands of the people who make it thrive.
Founded by Dale Kinney, Dan Miller, Bill Loveless, and Dean Jessop in 1985, ETel
has grown through decades of leadership and innovation, with ownership
passing in 2014 to principals Jeff Techmanski and Keith Kolaja.
Now, in 2025, E-Tel begins a new chapter as employees Brandon Sitterle and
Kyle Ribbing take on leadership roles, marking the company’s third generation.
The move to an ESOP ensures that E-Tel’s independence, culture, and values of
service, relationships, and commitment remain strong for decades to come.
“Our company has always taken an ‘All Hands On Deck, Team Approach’ to
serving our customers. It was only natural to transition the business to a platform
that allowed everyone to share in the success of our company,” added Kyle
Ribbing, new employee-owner.
An ESOP is a retirement plan that grants employees ownership interest in the
company through shares of stock. For E-Tel, this transition aligns perfectly with
its mission: rewarding the people who built its success, providing long-term
stability, and protecting its legacy as a family-oriented, locally rooted business.
“It’s exciting to step into roles of both leadership and ownership at E-Tel. We’re
enthusiastic about guiding this next era together,” added Brandon Sitterle, new
employee-owner.
